One of the love letters Henry VIII sent to Anne Boleyn. The letters are surprisingly romantic and show how Henry actually loved Anne. One letter even has their initials in a little heart drawn at the bottom. Henry’s lustful side can be seen with a comment about kissing Anne’s ‘duckies’, meaning breasts, ‘wishing my self  in my Sweethearts Armes whose pritty Duckys I trust shortly to kysse.’ Her replies haven’t survived, it could be that, as her replies would be in Henry’s possession, they were destroyed at the time of her execution. Henry’s letters survived and were found in the Vatican, no one knows why they ended up there.
